HD Hyundai Heavy Industries adopts Omega 365

Headquartered in Ulsan and recognized as the world’s largest shipbuilder, HD HHI operates one of the largest shipyards globally, delivering a variety of commercial vessels and offshore platforms to clients worldwide. 

HD HHI has chosen Omega 365 to support their Oil & Gas and wind farm projects in Korea, initially focusing on implementing Omega 365 Document Management. The primary goal is to streamline the document management process, making reviews, distribution, and document searches more efficient, while also enhancing progress tracking for complex project documentation. The initial rollout will support 50 users, with opportunities for wider adoption as projects progress. 

The implementation is lead by the Singapore team 

“The decision to select Omega 365 was influenced by its robust capabilities, its successful use by major EPCCs globally, and our ability to customize with Korean language support. Many at HD HHI are already familiar with our technology through Seatrium and other partners, and the team looks forward to a smooth and effective implementation” says Robin Tan, who will be the contact and account manager. The implementation will be carried out by his Singapore team, consisting of Jaslene Kong and Rachel Ang.
