Ever wanted to try something new? Well, if you're hungry how about Australian barbecue, Korean food, pig stomach or chicken feet?! Then again, if you're feeling active you coud always give badmington or lawn bowls a go! Or, of course, if you're not feeling quite that brave, just ask Kenneth, who has done it all this week. Tuesday, 15 November 2005Today I had a date with Heeah, who I met last week. I took her out for a cup of coffee and to an Italian restaurant. Very interesting girl with a really different background to me. She is educated in music and art and now studies in Perth. Had a nice night.Thursday, 17 November 2005Went for a trip to The Deen today with Heeah and other friends. This is a really good place on a Thursday, good live music.Friday, 18 November 2005
Today there was a team building event for the G1 project. We were divided into different teams and played lawn bowls. I think this must be an Australian "sport". I've never seen it before. The whole idea is to go out and throw a ball to hit a small ball. Afterwards was an Australian barbecue. Saturday, 19 November 2005Started the day eating yum cha with friends from work. Wilson speaks Chinese, so has control of the food we order. It turns out I tried pig stomach and chicken feet today (the actual foot). Afterwards we headed to Quan's house and relaxed by the pool. Beautiful weather, sun and Summer. Sunday, 20 November 2005In the morning I played badmington with Ken and Puay. This is a popular sport in Thailand, so I got thrashed. Good strains! |
