Omega 365 Protek welcomes Trine Halsnes as new General Manager

Omega 365 Protek has welcomed Trine Halsnes as its new General Manager, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the company, which is also moving its office to the Omega 365 building in Norheim this week.

Halsnes, who brings extensive experience and a fresh perspective, will be leading the company’s continued growth in delivering top-tier engineering and project execution services for both offshore and onshore industries.   

Highly motivated

Stepping into the General Manager role, Trine Halsnes is focused on strengthening Omega 365 Protek’s market position within the Haugalandet region. She is committed to maintaining and building upon the company’s strong relationships with its customer base. 

Having joined PDS Protek, Omega 365 Protek’s predecessor, in 2012, Halsnes has developed a deep understanding of the market and built a strong professional network through the company. Her previous roles have included a significant responsibility for staff and operations management, such that the leadership transition will be smooth for her team. Halsnes is enthusiastic about continuing to advance the vision originally set, now under the Omega 365 banner.

New leadership team

In addition to Halsnes’s leadership, Jan Bauge, who served as interim General Manager for the past four months, will continue in his role as Project Developer. Bauge remains an essential member of the leadership team and serves as a crucial strategic link to Omega 365 Consulting, where he was previously a Department Manager. 

Former General Manager Anders Lunde, who sought a change from his leadership role, is transitioning to a new position within Omega 365 Property, where his knowledge and expertise will continue to benefit all companies within the Omega 365 Group. While he looks forward to this new challenge, Lunde is grateful for his time with Omega 365 Protek and is confident that the company is in safe hands and poised for continued success.

Closer to colleagues 

Along with the leadership transition, Omega 365 Protek is currently relocating its offices to the Omega 365 building at Norevegen 17 in Norheim, Norway.. This move will bring the company closer to other Omega 365 entities, providing new opportunities for collaboration.
